Counseling Ministry
This ministry seeks to support and restore individuals socially, emotionally and spiritually. The counseling ministry focuses on a variety of areas. BMBC members interested in serving in this ministry must be screened to determine their area of training and how they might compliment the ministry. Available counseling ministries are listed below. Marriage Ministry
Marriage is an institution sanctioned by government and more importantly by God Himself. It is the melding of two lives, a man and a woman, together for the purpose of glorifying God. This ministry calls believers to be armed with the information required to live lives that glorify God.

A class for married and engaged couples. Learn or confirm how marriage was designed and how you can experience the relationship God meant for married people to share.

Substance Abuse Recovery
This ministry is dedicated to helping people enslaved to addictive drugs or other chemicals that lead to detrimental physical and mental health. We believe that Jesus is a deliverer for those that seek Him.
Anyone suffering from the ungodly effects of alcohol, narcotics, or prescription drugs is welcome to attend our weekly group meetings.

Grief Ministry
Grief is the natural response to loss. That response may be manifested in a number of ways; many of which can be unhealthy if left unchecked. This ministry is one of mutual support where others help each other bare and cope with the sense of loss. Having experienced grief themselves, our team has a heart for helping others with love, care and compassion.

Prison Ministry
This ministry is dedicated to sharing the gospel and ministering to individuals who are incarcerated. Operating under the template of the Berean Prison Ministry and Good News Jail Ministry, we vist the Cook County Jail in Chicago, IL each 2nd Sunday, and the Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, IL each 3rd Sunday. The Prison Ministry is opened to both men and women.
